Obituary


Rosemarie Bartos passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 with her husband of 55 years by her side. She was 3 days shy of her 80th birthday. Rosemarie grew up in Arnold, PA, where she was raised by her loving parents, Fred and Mary Sgalio. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1954. While working at Alcoa Aluminum, as a data entry clerk, she met her husband, Donald Bartos. They moved to Pasadena in 1966.
Rosemarie was a loving wife to Donald and a devoted mother to David and Cheryl, who will be deeply missed....

Rosemarie Bartos passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016 with her husband of 55 years by her side. She was 3 days shy of her 80th birthday. Rosemarie grew up in Arnold, PA, where she was raised by her loving parents, Fred and Mary Sgalio. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1954. While working at Alcoa Aluminum, as a data entry clerk, she met her husband, Donald Bartos. They moved to Pasadena in 1966.
Rosemarie was a loving wife to Donald and a devoted mother to David and Cheryl, who will be deeply missed. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She spent many fun filled family weekends watching her children marching in the band, as well as, watching model airplane's fly with her husband. Rosemarie liked playing cards, building puzzles, watching television and reading the newspaper.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mary Sgalio and the family dog, Molly. She is survived by her husband, Donald Bartos; her daughter, Cheryl Bartos; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Heather Bartos; grandchildren Arran and Aila Bartos; and her granddog, Tiffany.
The Bartos Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to their friends and family that have provided love and support throughout this difficult time. They would also like to thank Harbor Hospice and Right at Home for their unconditional devotion and guidance to their mother's care during this last year. A special thanks would like to be given to Bianca Gonzalez for her love and care of their mother.
