Marta Kurta was born on November 21, 1952 in Klusov (Slovakia) to her parents Adam and Anna Hanisova. She lived there till 1980 working in a Bardejou Spa. She loved to sing and dance in folk assemblies. She traveled with them throughout Eastern Europe.
After she came to the USA in May of 1980, were she worked in the retail business. She worked for K-Mart and later on worked for Wal-Mart. Everybody remembers her as very professional, always happy and cheerful woman. She has been a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church since 1980 and...

Everybody remembers her as very professional, always happy and cheerful woman. She has been a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church since 1980 and enjoyed her quiet time in the Adoration Chapel. She was one of those people who could always make you smile.
She is survived by her husband Cyril Kurta, son Steven Kurta, sisters Helena and Anna, brother Vincent, and many nieces and nephews.
You will be missed by all of us, until we see you again.
